Year 5 and 6 students at Aveley Primary School had lots of fun taking part in science practicals on Wednesday 12th December.

Ms Thacker and  Ms Ryan from OPA Science department ran the practical sessions at Aveley Primary school, which involved the Year 5 pupils carefully carrying out the exciting chemistry practical “Hydrogen Pop Tests”.

The Year 6 students reinforced their knowledge and understanding of the heart and circulatory system, a KS2 topic they have just completed with Mr Sisterson, by performing heart dissections! Ms Thacker and Miss Ryan were very impressed by the students’ excellent listening and practical skills, and we look forward to delivering more practical work at Aveley Primary in the new year.
