Year 10 students, Kamaal Busari and Sophie O’Neill, dazzled a crowd of over three hundred with their confident and passionate delivery in this year’s Regional Final of the Jack Petchey ‘Speak Out’ competition.

Kamaal gave an articulate, funny and thought-provoking speech on the relationships between students and their teachers whilst Sophie spoke passionately from the heart on the life-changing impact the charity ‘Young Carers’ has had on her life.

A thoroughly enjoyable night was had by all involved and staff returned to school exceptionally proud of these two talented students!
